
Hey everyone, we had just a couple hrs to shoot the opening day of the 2009 PGA Honda Classic yesterday in Palm Bch Gardens. True to its name, the Bear Trap (15,16,17) grabbed lots of players as they made their way in on this very windy afternoon. We’ll be out for more today and Sunday too!!
The 17th hole and the 3rd hole of the Bear Trap, shown above was a stearn test indeed with the wind howling into the players faces, and the everpresent water looming off to the right and short to catch any shots not hit exactly pure. See more pix from this event by clicking on the following text

Sergio, also on the tee at 15, hit into the sand resulting in an eventual bogey that put him in a tie for 2nd.

On the tee at 16, Sergio would par in to end the day in a tie for 2nd.
